This creates different layers of clay that intertwine like a landscape with different layers of earth. The inside of the cup is coated with a glossy glaze, the outside is unglazed so that the texture of the clay can be easily felt. The espresso cups are available in two sizes. An espresso cup and a slightly larger cup for a double espresso. The cups are made of the same clay as the light speckled saucers and cake plates but can be combined beautifully with all hand-turned tableware. The inside of the espresso cups is glossy glazed, the outside is unglazed just like the regular cups light speckled. Each espresso cup is handmade and therefore not each product is identical but can differ slightly in shape, size or color.  

De espresso kopjes zijn gemaakt van dezelfde klei als de licht gespikkelde schotels en cakeborden maar kunnen goed gecombineerd worden met al het handgedraaide servies. De binnenzijde van de espressokopjes zijn glanzend geglazuurd, de buitenzijde is ongeglazuurd net als de gewone kopjes licht gespikkeld. Elk espressokopje is met de hand gemaakt en daarom is niet elk product identiek maar kan het net iets afwijken qua vorm, afmeting of kleur.

These hand-turned cups are made of iron-rich stoneware clay that turns a deep red after firing. The outside is left unglazed so the texture of the clay can still be felt. The inside is covered with a glossy transparent glaze (which turns dark brown because of the high iron content in the clay). 

Deze handgedraaide kopjes zijn gemaakt van ijzerrijke steengoed klei die diep rood kleurt na het stoken. De buitenkant is ongeglazuurd gelaten waardoor de textuur van de klei nog goed voelbaar is. De binnenzijde is voorzien van een glanzend transparant glazuur (dat donkerbruin kleurt vanwege het hoge ijzergehalte in de klei).
